I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth.
Genesis 9:12-14 (in Context) Genesis 9 (Whole Chapter) 25 Then there came a voice from above the expanse over their heads as they stood with lowered wings. 26 Above the expanse over their heads was what looked like a throne of sapphire, [f] and high above on the throne was a figure like that of a man. 27 I saw that from what appeared to be his waist up he looked like glowing metal, as if full of fire, and that from there down he looked like fire; and brilliant light surrounded him. 28 Like the appearance of a rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the radiance around him.
This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. When I saw it, I fell facedown, and I heard the voice of one speaking. Ez 1 Is the rainbow Jesus Christ?
Bible Answer: Scripture ... Gen 9:8-17, Eze 1:27-28, Rev 10:1 ...
In the context of the rainbow in Genesis 9:8-17 is not the sign of Jesus Christ, since it includes non humans.
In Ezekiel 1:28 the rainbow is used as an allegory ... it is used to contrast the clouds on a rainy day. If you ever saw this you'd know how brilliant it is. The rainbow is not a sign of Jesus Christ.
Even the rainbow above the angel's head (Rev 10:1) wouldn't fit.
