I personally trusted in Jesus Christ to be the very Son Of God and my Saviour in Oct. 1965, while at home, reading my wife’s Douay Version of the Bible.
I thought at the time that I was the only one in the World that knew the message of salvation. I had never heard the “emphasis” of the salvation message, i.e. complete “undivided trust” in the “finished work of Jesus Christ”; even though in my younger years I had attended many “very popular” denominational churches.
John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Ephes. 2:8-9
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9Not of works, lest any man should boast.

I felt I had a lot of work to do, trying to communicate the message about Jesus, all by myself, to the rest of the misinformed, misguided world.
Praise the Lord, I found out that there are more of us who love Jesus for who He is and what He did.
I have been teaching home Bible discussions, and in the past few years the Lord has helped me write Biblical poetry, as a way to reach people with the message of the gospel. I love studying God's Word and I enjoy the Koine Greek of the New Testament.
I am very troubled by people who “claim to be” believers in Christ yet they don't have a deep seated hunger for God's precious Word the Bible!
2 Peter 3:18
but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.
