Yes, many believe that is what will happen. However, there is no way of proving it until it happens. Just like nobody knows when Christ will come again. |

I agree with the other answer, that we can guess all we want who will come from the north, but the truth will be known after it comes to pass. Prophecy is not given so that we know the details before hand, but so that we know that God knows the end from the beginning. 1PE 1:10 "As to this salvation, the prophets who prophesied of the grace that would come to you made careful searches and inquiries" it goes on to say that even they didn't know the details of the things that they were writing about. The passage says from the north. Other passages I have been told tell of Gog and Magog, and Moscow they say comes from the same root as Magog. But I would still caution you not to put any stock in detailed proclamations that go beyond what the scriptures say.

Hi,
We as humansa make images of things. This would be an image of men. Though not correct, because angels seem to be adults (Look at Genesis 18:2, 22 and Genesis 19:1), this is the image of the artists. The artists are trying, I believe, to make an image of innocense.

Hi TOFT-
If you read in Ezekial, the only thing about cherubim that remotely resembles anything human is one of the faces had a man's face. The rest was a mixture of animal and bird and "wheel within a wheel". It boggles the mind.

A message for the prince of Tyre |

I would like to know if God was talking to satin or the prince of Tyre. I was told that God was talking to the Devil. I say he was talking to the King of Tyre's son the prince of Tyre.
Could you please give me and answer to my question.
Thank you Ezekiel 28:1-19 |

Greetings Mawsjams!
The answer appears to be both.
Ez. 28:1-10 refers to a ruler. The description would seem to be a human ruler.
Ez. 28:11-19 refers to a king. The description seems to refer to someone who could not possibly be human.
One explanation of this would be that Ez. 28:1-10 refer to the human ruler of Tyre, while Ez. 28:11-19 refers to the spiritual ruler of Tyre, Satan.
I hope this helps!

Do you know why God would use the son of Tyre and the Satan as the same. Is God telling the prince of Tyre that he did the same as Satan and that he would get ride of the prince just as he did with
Satan for thinking he was God . |

Greetings Mawsjams!
You could be right! The ruler of Tyre could have been guilty of the same kind of pride that led to Satan's downfall.
Or, the passage could mean that Satan was the ultimate source of Tyre's sin.
I'm not sure!

HIRAM
2Sa 5:11
And Hiram king of Tyre sent messengers to David,
and cedar trees, and carpenters, and masons: and
they built David an house.
1Ki 5:1
And Hiram king of Tyre sent his servants unto
Solomon; for he had heard that they had anointed him
king in the room of his father: for Hiram was ever a lover
of David.
TYRE:
a rock, now es-Sur; an ancient Phoenician city,
about 23 miles, in a direct line, north of Acre,
and 20 south of Sidon. Sidon was the oldest
Phoenician city, but Tyre had a longer and more
illustrious history. The commerce of the whole
world was gathered into the warehouses of Tyre.
"Tyrian merchants were the first who ventured to
navigate the Mediterranean waters; and they
founded their colonies on the coasts and
neighbouring islands of the AEgean Sea, in
Greece, on the northern coast of Africa, at
Carthage and other places, in Sicily and
Corsica, in Spain at Tartessus, and even beyond
the pillars of Hercules at Gadeira (Cadiz)"
(Driver's Isaiah). In the time of David a friendly
alliance was entered into between the Hebrews
and the Tyrians, who were long ruled over by
their native kings

Greetings jlmbasmnc!
1) The Nelson Study Bible contains an excellent map that describes the Temple in Ezekiel 40-44 on page 1400. This map is filled with details and includes a side map that describes the Gateway, complete with Scripture references.
2) The Zondervan NASB (or NIV) Study Bible has a nice "sideview" of the Temple in Ezekiel 40, and even goes into the measurements of the Temple into cubits. This map also has Scripture references.
3) The MacArthur Study Bible contains two excellent maps that help to describe the dimensions of the Temple, that is spoken of in Ezekiel 40-44, and the Holy District, that is described in Ezekiel 44-46,48. These two maps are found on pages 1209 (the Temple) and 1218 (The Holy District). The map itself places the names of the specific areas in the actual diagram of the Temple.
4) The Ryrie Expanded Edition Study Bible contains a very interesting "floorplan" of the Temple on page 1327. This is most like a "blueprint" with arrows pointing to a region with a description on the side.
If you have access to any one of these Study Bibles, then you are in for a treat! However, I have 'ranked' them (1-4) from the map with the most details (1) to the one with the least (4).
Blessings to you,
Nolan |

Hi Kari:
Read the book of Ezekiel chapters 37, 38, and 39.
This section of scripture tells of nations rising against Israel in the last days.
Gog is a prince of the north which is now modern day Russia and other nations will join him. Most of these nations being arab nations. If you would go and study world history "Im not saying you haven't" this will become very clear to anyone. When these nations come against Israel the Lords wrath or aword turns against these nations.
This a very short answer to a very detailed subject.
I dont usually do this but I will leave my email address at the end of this post so you can contact me directly if you wish to discuus and study this topic more in depth since this a very complex and hard to understand subject.
God Bless You.

Israel was a man, like any other man. Sprang from the same place that all man sprang from. What made him unique was his righteousness. And his loyalty to God. He gave birth to twelve sons. Yet though he was a good and righteous father, some of his sons did not follow his ways. An example was, Simeon, and Levi. Read Genesis 49:5 A nation means nothing to God. He has build nations and then destroy them down because of their corruption. God gave the lands of the wicked people to the righteous people at one time. But today he entrusted all his possessions to Our Lord Jesus Christ. This is his Kingdom. And we are all its citizens. |

When Jacob returned to the land of Canaan from Paddan-aram he wrestled with the Angel of God who changed his name to Israel Gen. 32:28. Later, at Bethel ...
Gen 35:9 And God [in a distinctly visible manifestation] appeared to Jacob again when he came out of Padan-aram, and declared a blessing on him. [Gen. 32:28.]
Gen 35:10 Again God said to him, Your name is Jacob [supplanter]; you shall not be called Jacob any longer, but Israel shall be your name. So He called him Israel [contender with God].
Gen 35:11 And God said to him, I am God Almighty. Be fruitful and multiply; a nation and a company of nations shall come from you and kings shall be born of your stock;
Gen 35:12 The land which I gave Abraham and Isaac I will give to you, and to your descendants after you I will give the land.
Which is a confermation of the covenant that God gave Abraham in Chapter 17, and to his father Isaac in chapter 26:24. |

Greetings Bruno!
One possible explanation of this prophecy is that Israel will be besieged by the forces of antichrist in a time when they least expect, and that this will begin a time of great distress (Jer. 30:5-7, Dan. 12:1) for Israel.
Blessings to you,
