Dear Terry,
The passages you referenced for death, are for believers in the Savior, God's Messiah, passages that describe cessation of bodily functioning, not death. Death, the Second Death, is total, eternal separation from God.
That which was made of dust and returns to dust is nothing more than a vessel that houses the spirit and soul of man. When it stops working (dies) the spirit lives on, either with God or without God.
Are you a born-again, Spirit-filled believer? Is Christ your Lord and Savior?
