I have heard the Israelites wandered around in the desert for 40 years, but I have also heard the term - 40 - 40 - 40 what does that mean?
 Answer:   
In what context did you see it or where did you come across it.

The Israelites wandered in the desert for 40 years, it rained on Noah for 40 days and Jesus was tempted in the desert for 40 days.
