Hi philemcc,
Thanks for drawing my attention to Rev,21:1-8.
Now I have a little bit more understanding of life in Heaven- no tears,no pain, nogrief and no death but do they have to earn their keep?Will there be night and day? Will they be able to recognise their earthly relatives and friends?

Greetings FytRobert! See Rev 21:25 There will be no night - God is our Light - His Presence casts out darkness! Jesus paid the cost of admission for us - eternal life in Heaven is a free gift. The Church or body of believers is called the Bride of Christ. Does a wife "earn her keep?" We are called children of God. Do children have to "earn their keep"? Lastly, yes, I believe that we will recognize one another. I hope you find encouragement through your searching of God's Word!
