Can a wife divorce her husband for some reasons? They both are believer. |

Dear Hana, every time I hear the word divorce my spirit cringes. This is a very sensitive matter; however, let's look at the Word of God. Malachi 2:16 tells us God hates divorce; and, we know Jesus in agreement with the Father yet He expounds a bit more on the subject. In Matt 5:32 "...but, I say..." and in Matt 19 and from verse 8 "...hardness of heart..." Now, to answer your question - "immorality" which I believe encompasses abuse would give some reasons. Yet, I always encourage the Believer to be led by the Spirit of God to be in line with His will - which is His Word.
