Who did Cain marry to have children? |

Genesis 4:16 states, "So Cain went out from the LORD's presence and lived in the land of Nod, east of Eden." Remember that Genesis was written many years after these events took place. In Genesis 4:14 Cain tells the Lord, "Today you are driving me from the land, and I will be hidden from your presence; I will be a restless wanderer on the earth, and whoever finds me will kill me." According to the NIV, Nod means wandering. So it could very well be that the land that Cain went to did not recieve the name Nod until after he settled there, but because Genesis was written so much later, Moses called the land by the name that it was known by in his time.
