Actually my NASB has a footnote that points to
Deuteronomy 4:19 (NASB)
19 "And beware not to lift up your eyes to heaven and see the sun and the moon and the stars, all the host of heaven, and be drawn away and worship them and serve them, those which the LORD your God has allotted to all the peoples under the whole heaven.
Deuteronomy 17:3 (NASB)
3 and has gone and served other gods and worshiped them, or the sun or the moon or any of the heavenly host, which I have not commanded,
Notice the Sun and moon are mentioned first so I think this referring the rest of the bodies we see in the heaven, to the stars or constellations of the first heaven. But it could be also be referring to angels or angelic beings.
