what am i supposed to do about the mice and rats that are invading my home. my neighborhood was a quiet and well maintained, consisting mostly of older couples, but the city re-zoned the area resulting in almost every lot for miles around to have at least 1 home built in what was once a back yard, some property around me have 3 homes squeezed onto the property. When it was just us old people here, I feel we all respected each other and our neighborhood, We took the small effort it took to be sure out garbage was confinen to the can and all paid to have the local garbage collector to take it away.. now that the neighborhood is trippled with people alot of theese new ones are not making sure thier garbage is put in a closed container and in some cases the garbage collection has stopped (probably for lack of payment) but the garbage is piled up, overflowing, and scattered ... Now i never had a problem with rats or mice in the 20 years before this re-zoning.. I do what is necessary to maintain the property i own. i think the rats and mice are overflowing from all the garbage left out in the open...What should i do in order to keep my home and property rodent free. Is it right to poisen them? AND WHAT ABOUT THESE FRUIT FLIES THAT WONT GO AWAY, EVEN IF I TOTALLY RID MY KITCHEN OF ANY FRUIT OR FOOD those fruit fkies are pestering me as i sit in a bedroom, totally closed away from the kitchen, the fruit flies are flaunting thier wings.. i am not over run with the fruit flies,, I notice only about 10 in each room BUT THAT IS 10 MORE THAN I CAN STAND !! the rats and mice and the fruit flies make me itch all over, it might be in my head but it is a problem i dont want to learn to live with, the bites and whelts on my skin are real. am i really wrong to kill the invaders?

befor i was allowed to join the baptist church, first the members voted if they wanted me, I was shown by the pastor at the time something about .. After Judas hung himself the 11 appostles voted a new apostle to join them.... can you explain in everyday words why it was necessary for me to be voted in, and how it relates to the act of voting after judas comitted suside and then tell me where to look in the bible to find the scripture |

My question concerns the loss of salvation. I've asked some of my believer friends and have now become aware that this topic can be a hot one. So, here it goes.
My specific example, which I draw my question from, refers to Judas who hanged himself after his betrayal of Jesus. When Jesus chose the twelve apostles, he knew them as only their creator could. Yet he chose Judas anyway and gave him the same privileges as the others despite knowing he would be betrayed by this man. This man received salvation just as the others did. He knew Jesus, saw his miracles, heard his teachings and walked with him everyday. And since he hung himself after betraying Jesus, he knew what he did and couldn't live with himself or face the others. Now, did Jesus forgive Judas? Did Judas lose his salvation?
On a more general note, can your average struggling believer lose his or her salvation? |

I'm struggling with a moral dilemma and am trying to find scripture for guidance. I know of two different scenarios where one party is knowingly deceiving another party for personal profit. Do I have accountability to help right the wrongs or is it not my responsibility?
Two verses come to mind. The first "Vengeance is Mine sayeth the Lord". This one makes me think it's not my responsibility. The second is the one that refers to Ten Fold. Does this one mean that if I do nothing, then if I'm cheated and treated unfairly while someone knows, then they won't intervene on my behalf???
I'm not sure what's the right thing to do. Thanks in advance! |
