All were created for his pleasure some for honor, and some to dishonor. Romans 9:22 and 23. Some will worship him in vain. Matt. 15:9. His election will worship him giving all honor and praise to him and none to man. All, will bow to him and realize he is God. Romans 13: 11. The whole bible shows us our need for a saviour, despite our sins and choices. We are not made to worship him, but the born again election will do so because of his mercy and grace, as this is his purpose. Romans 8:28.
If anyone else can find a verse or verse saying we were created to worship him please pass them on to me. |

He has a purpose for his called...........Romans 8 verse 28. His election, by his grace, praise him. Read Romans 11 verse 32. Men are all in unbelieve so God might have mercy on whom he will. This way it is God who gets all the praise, honor and glory. I am sure there are verses that say we are to give our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ ALL the praise.

I have need to back off from such a divisive subject as this and so will tone my answer down. This is what I believe. If you seek after such things do so thanking God for his mercy and Grace. As for me I will give God all the glory honor and praise that are his and thank him for his mercy and grace toward me.
There is a verse that says tongues shall cease. It is 1 Cor. 13:8. And verse 10 says when that which is perfect is come, that in part is done away with. The one who was perfect was Christ and he did come. If you go to a church which seeks such things today at the very least let all things be done decently and in order as it states in 1 Cor. 14:40. Also you will notice I do not forbid such things in lite of verse 39.
As for me I do not seek such things and I will not go where they do. I give thanks for my saviour who choose me and I always exalt Jesus Christ the Lord and Saviour. If you do seek these thing please do so with Love and charity as you read in 1 Cor 13:1-4. Please don't let this issue become a stumbling block. It is not one for me. |

The word "rapture" does not appear in the bible.Is the rapture judgement day? There will be no "secret" rapture, only God returning for his people. In the parable of the wheat and tares, the wheat is gathered into the barn and the tares are gathered and burned. |
