4 When do we go to heaven? (?)Answered NT general onthebrink247 Fri 01/13/12, 3:54pm 230835
I know that the bible says that at the rapture, all who are dead will be risen to meet with the Lord in the sky.

What I am confused about and would like clarification is this. I have also heard (where scripturally, I am not sure), that when we die we will immediately go to heaven.

So my question is, which is true? Do we stay dead in the ground until the rapture, while He is preparing a place for us -- or do we immediately go to heaven when we die?
