thanks jim , but what you are saying is that the Delivering power of Christ is not available to some people. Jesus said He came to set the captives free and that He would have none perish. all it takes is a "Jesus please help me no one else can" I got to that point and i did just that. Many wont and dont,. It is a choice or is it, many are called but few chosen? YIC. |

thanks Jim yes i have been there and i know that i was in trouble but did nothing about it. For it was a decision that i had to make and so did all of us. Sin sepates us from God and His love, Isiah 59:2. do you think or really can say that God and Jesus and the Holy Spirit will let some one die or kill themselves, without sending someone to help a person in need crying out from their hearts for help. i say my God will help but the sins of the person and the hatred and unforgiveness in their lives seperates them from the love of God. I do know and i knew that i had to repent but i didnt and didnt want to, and the voice of the Lord got softer and softer. then one at one point He sent some one to speak an encouraging word into my life and i took that advice and gave myself to the Lord Jesus. But many dont listen and just go down and down until the Hatred is so deep that they even hate Life its self. that is the course we can choose. i died but i did it Gods way. Bless you .YIC |

main line churches are methodists lutherens baptists anglicans etc. i think they are called that because they are stuck in methodology and religion. For when we say that God wont or cant move that way or this way, we are in danger of grieving the Holy Spirit. |

Hi I am told that Christ rose on the First day of the week or the eighth day that is why the Christian church worships on sunday. i think but am not sure but it started after the dark ages with the new move of the Holy Spirit and the churches we have to day.YIC. |

hi i will put it very simply, because that is the way i understand things. Salvation was for the Jews only ,so they thought. they were a seperated people to the Lord. in cerimonies, in living. in eating, in marriage , in everything all that they did involved God.Now if the Holy Spirit was Given to the gentiles, as Jesus knew the True will of God was to be, how could every one keep the sabath at the same time when the world was round? The old Law was based upon seperation and doing.If you sinned then you could sacrifice and be forgiven, and still be the samein thoughts. Salvation is based upon attitude and love it is a heart issue, but in the law you could think what you wanted as long as you didnt do it.Jesus came and reopened that can of worms to say love your Lord God with all you heart, mind, and strength and your neighbor as your self. keeping a Holy day to the Lord is also an heart attitude that is why Colossians 2:16 says let no man judge you concerning.....sabaths. For every thing is open to the Lord in this age of Christ. If your heart condemns you not then you have confidence toward God.It is simple really, our commandments are the Beattitudes Math 5. Jesus said come unto me all that are heavy laden and i will give you rest. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light. what is His yoke and His burden? obedience and love. That is all we are to rest in.Obedience to the Holy Spirits unctioning and prompting and Love to the stranger, brother and sister. YIC. |

the Law states that you shall not kindle fire on a sabath day. So you must have a fire already kindled. also AArons sons lit a fire and the Lord refused them as priests. i tried to find the scripture for you but couldnt find it. i am sure with all the tools that are here you could look ou aarons sons. yes by George I think you have it. You do understand that a baby to grow must be fed and that our christian walk is a growing process. If we are to grow, what are we to grow into, or likeness of? Christlike isnt it? If then we are to be christ like we must take the same steps of Jesus. His first step was to be baptised in water, was it not? First with water and then the Holy Spirit. if we choose not to follow after Jesus doesnt that make us as an outcast or rebellious? if we are rebellious of Christs footsteps, who is the firstborn of many bretheren,what does that make us if rebellion is as wictchcraft?
So the facts as we have it are; If we are saved by asking Jesus to save us ,then we are saved and will be allowed into heaven. But if we are to be conformed into the image of His Son, which is growing process,we must follow Jesus through the waters of baptism.bless you ! YIC |
