And when Paul and Barnabas had great dissension and debate with them,
determined that Paul and Barnabas and some others of them should go up to Jerusalem to the apostles and elders concerning this issue.
Some men came down from Judea and
teaching the brethren, "Unless you are circumcised according to the custom of Moses, you cannot be saved."
But there were some of them, men of Cyprus and Cyrene, who came to Antioch and
speaking to the Greeks also, preaching the Lord Jesus.
¶ The news about Him spread throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all who were ill, those suffering with various diseases and pains, demoniacs, epileptics, paralytics; and He healed them.
But some men from what was called the Synagogue of the Freedmen,
both Cyrenians and Alexandrians, and some from Cilicia and Asia, rose up and argued with Stephen.
